Whoever the cook; Whatever the Dish! Can’t able to match my mom’s taste! If us ask someone who is best cook? Few will answer Chef Dhamu or some other professional cooks; some may name their relations.  Without discerning, I answer you “My Mom is The Best cook in the whole world”  Factually, My whole family will assent so.  Mrs. Vijaya Sankaran, who is homespun and an my  excellent mom here to present you a wonderful foodstuff.  “Started to cook at the age of 15, I have learned lot of recipes from my mom and mother-in-law .  Wish to share one of them with you.  Now I am gonna disclose one of my son’s favorite dish “Arisi Adai”. Its one of the south Indian toasty snack which uses raw rice, lopped coconut(optional), and salt for flavoring.  Take 4/3 cup raw rice, mix in ½ cup uraddal and soak it in cool water for 20 to 25 minutes to make batter.  The batter need not to be left for  fermentation. You can make adai even after a minute of making batter.  Sauté mustard and cumin with  pinch of dal and curry leaves.  Add onion next to chilly and cook until the raw smell get off. Adjoin  lopped coconut and cashew nuts.  Mix the cooked fillings with batter and toast it  like dosa.  Now the adai is get ready to serve.  A healthy adai is made within half an hour.  Please try it in your home and enjoy the delicacy.  It can be given to your children came from school as evening snack and even elder people can consume it since has no spicy or oily ingredients”  Now I’m going to taste the Adai,  “Mom its awesome”  Guys Adai is wonderful,  please you too try it in your home.Interestingly, Food made by mom not only spiced up with ingredients but also with love and care!  Instead of taking fast foods you can adopt the healthier life by taking these sort of innate dishes.
