The monument incorporates all the 1330 verses of Thirukural grouped in 133 chapters, a model Temple chariot and an auditorium with the capacity of 4000 people. Thiruvalluvar Statue was mounted in the 39m (128ft) chariot which was a resemblance of Thiruvarur chariot, considered to be the world’s largest chariot. The bizarre was sculpted exquisitely and looks alike of its original. It was chiseled by the hands of V. GanapathiSthapati, who also rendered 133ft statue of Thiruvallur at Kanyakumari. The monument is being one of the example for fine art and glasses Tamil art, literature and culture. The vault attracts thousands and thousands of spectators everyday and returns them the ethics, art, literature and sweetness of Tamil.
