Ingredients:
How to make the Batter:
Idly batter -500 ml
Javarisi – 3 tablespoon
Salt and oil –as required
Mustard (kaduku)- ½ tablespoon
Chopped onion- 1cup
Chopped green chillies- 4
Grated Coconut -3/4 cup

Method to prepare:
Soak javarisi in1/2 cup of water for half an hour and grind to a fine paste. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and allow it to splutter…. Add grated coconut and chopped green chillies and onions and make them fry till it is golden brown. Add the fried onion coconut mixture and javarisi paste on to the idly batter.. add salt to taste…..
Heat the panniyaram pan… add oil into each mould…. Pour the batter to the mould…. Cook for a minute and turn and fry to another side and see to it whether panniyaram both sides cooked well to golden brown and becomes crispy and tasty… serve hot with chilly chutney….
