Thoor dhal  – 1 cup

Bengal gram – 1/4 cup

Red chilly – 5

Salt – as required

Gingely Oil – 50 ml

Mustard – 1 teaspoon

Beans/capsicum/cluster beans/banana flower- 150grams

Urid dhal – 1 teaspoon

Asafoetida – 1/4 teaspoon

Curry leaves

Method to prepare:

Soak the thoor dhal, bengal gram and red chilly and salt in water for 2 hours

Chop vegetable and boil with little water and salt for 5 minutes.. grind all fried mixture to a coarse powder…

Drain the water and thoroughly wash the ingredients with fresh water

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and curry leaves and allow it to splutter…Add asafoetida and ulutham paruppu and sauté…. Add grinded powder and cook for few minutes

Add boiled vegetable and mix thoroughly and cookfor few minutes until raw smellgoes and turn off the stove….serve hot…..
