All Pass only up to class 5, according to new education policy

The human resource ministry has formulated a new education policy. In a move to receive public comments for the same, the ministry had rolled out a few important points of the policy in the web yesterday.

The existing rule that mandates pass mark for students up to class 8 is reduced to All pass only up to class 5.

Student`s capability will become poor by promoting them from up to class 8 and hence is the change. All the states and union territories can teach lessons in their mother tongue or regional language for students up to class 5. If taught so, the other subjects will be taught in English. The state government can select the third language complying with the political law. Avenues to teach Sanskrit in schools and universities will be widened.

Furthermore, implementation of right to education act in minority schools will also be taken under consideration. More investments will be made in education department. Foreign universities will be allowed in more numbers to mark their presence here in India.
